Akuba's Salon - Black Hair for Conan Exiles Part 5

This is the 5th hair in the series of 10 black hairs in the Akuba's Salon mod for Conan Exiles. I was commissioned by Terrornaut of the Deadlands server. The mod can be found here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1938818750 .

This is the afro puffs hairstyle. The puffs are made of layered patches formed around a sphere. The patches are created with fibermesh and baked down to cards in xNormal. At first I figured it would be comical to have such well groomed puffs in the game, but I think I will generate a bit of noise in the puffs to make them more rugged, as well as reorganize the patches to eliminate some of the lighting chunks in the final product. The scalp uses caps and a breakup layer of curly hair cards. No physics were required for this style.
